Live Full. Live Well. Live Long.
The mission of the Owatonna SeniorPlace is to involve, enrich and empower adults 50 years of age or better to live as independently as possible in our communities.
We do this by promoting the wellness of adults 50 years of age or better through recreational, educational and social opportunities as well as being a referral source for services available within our service area. Activities and programming of the center emphasize creating and maintaining independence in all phases of life.
It is our vision that we become an indispensable asset to boomers, seniors and our community by offering programs and services that enable boomers and seniors to live healthy and meaningful lives in their own homes within their community.
Winter Weather Closing
Bad weather may force closing and cancellations. If the weather looks uncertain, tune into your local radio station for information regarding the closing of Owatonna SeniorPlace. SeniorPlace follows the local school district's decision on closing; as soon as the Owatonna Public School District closes, all Center activities, programs and classes are cancelled.
Always remember to stay safe in this Minnesota weather. Roads and walkways may appear to be clear, but could be icy. If the weather looks uncertain, it is always better to be safe and stay home.
