  3. LBAE Meeting

    April 20, 2021, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

    Local Board of Appeal & Equalization (LBAE) Meeting in Council Chambers at City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor which would affect your 2022 Property Taxes. If you believe that the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact the Steele County Assessor’s office to discuss your concerns, 507-444-7435. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with the assessor, you may appeal to the LBAE by attending this meeting. The LBAE will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the County Board of Appeal and Equalization during their meeting in June.
