This race is being held for the benefit of the Owatonna Parks & Recreation Youth Scholarship Fund. How do I buy a duck? Community members and businesses can pre-purchase rubber ducks individually or in bulk through the Owatonna Parks & Recreation office or River Springs Water Park. Each duck will have a number on the bottom that correlates to the buyer. If you purchase a duck or multiple ducks for the River Springs Ducky Dash you have also purchased admission to the Water Park for that day. How does the race work? The rubber ducks will be launched down the water slide at River Springs Water Park, once they have plunged into the water they will continue and finish the race around the lazy river. We will be giving away up to 20 prizes. Prizes will be drawn at the conclusion of the race. You do not have to be present to win a prize. Water Park will be open 11am-8pm on June 14th, race starts at 11:30am (June 28th rain date).
