Current Course Conditions

The course is open and power carts are available.  The course is still wet in many spots so please take caution with the power carts, and there is rain and strong winds in the forecast.  Check back for updates on the course conditions.

Currently the soil temperatures at Brooktree Golf Course are in the low 40's.  The soil at Brooktree is heavy clay which will take longer to warm up in the spring than a sandy loam soil.  Optimum soil temperatures for bentgrass, (the greens) is 65 degrees.  Until that is reached the greens will not grow much.  NO amount of water or fertilizer applied will help increase the soil temperatures.  Please keep this in mind during the cool spring conditions.
