  12. The permit fee is the total fire protection system cost (including labor and components) multiplied by 0.02.

    Minimum permit fee is $25.

  13. PLAN & FEE SUBMITTAL

  14. The following items need to be received at the Owatonna Fire Department before any plans will be reviewed: permit application form, two (2) sets of plans, cut sheets and calculations (if applicable), and permit fee payment (check or cash only).

  16. You may be asked to provide paper copies by fire department personnel if they are not able to complete a digital plan review.

  17. This permit does not relieve the contractor from compliance with appropriate Federal, State or Local regulations concerning this installation. The contractor certifies that the above information is correct.
